Two Person Private Wheel Class - Beginners
8 weeks, 2.5 hours (20 hours total), Wednesdays at 6:30p
$650 per person
This private class for two is a fun introduction to the pottery wheel that will guide you through the foundational skills of wheel throwing. Whether you've never touched clay before or want to start fresh and build a solid base, this course will provide demonstrations and close instruction as you practice the skills and create wheel thrown pieces you can be proud of!

Each week will include hands-on instruction, demonstrations, and plenty of time for practice, with individual guidance throughout. In week eight, we'll glaze the pieces you've created to finish them beautifully.

This class is for 2 students registering together (minors under 16 must be joined by an adult), allowing for plenty of individual attention and a fun, challenging experience to share with a friend or family member.

Learning the wheel is a very nuanced skill — little differences in hand placement and pressure make all the difference. So having a teacher right there to guide you every step is key. I think it was a great value. I was proud of the volume of work I could complete during the class. The learning curve was not smooth for me — just because of who I am — a few peaks and valleys within the curve. Caroline's expertise was invaluable and her positive personality and fun loving nature along with her skills made the class first class. I definitely recommend it!
