Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer kid’s classes?

All current offerings are suitable for teens and adults. Teens under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

I hope to arrange parent/guardian & child classes in the future. Our dog has never been around children, so special arrangements need to be put in place to ensure a comfortable time for everyone and I want to take more time to consider these possibilities. If you are interested in events for kids and parents, please reach out and I’d be happy to discuss arrangements.

Is your studio ADA accessible?

No, unfortunately the studio is accessed by a flight of stairs into my basement. If you’d like to arrange a workshop for a student making use of a wheelchair, please reach out to discuss offsite possibilities.

Do you host offsite workshops?

I'd love to discuss the possibilities! Send me an email at connect@claytooth.com and let me know what you're thinking!
Can we make whatever we want in a workshop?

Instructions and materials will be prepped for your chosen workshop project, and I don’t want to detract from the learning of the group to teach separate projects, but by all means if you want to take liberty within the scope of the materials and skills presented you are more than welcome to do so. Clay enforces its own rules and limits at various stages in the process, and my instruction is there to help you work with those properties to achieve success. See The Inherent Possibility of Loss in Pottery.

Can we bring alcoholic beverages to Classes or Workshops?

For Classes, no. For private Workshops, feel free to bring your favorite wine or beer for your group to enjoy. (No hard liquor please.)
I don’t see any available days/times on the calendar.
If you don’t see scheduling options on the calendar it means that all the near future options are booked or that I have had to clear some dates for pottery production or shows. Sign up for my email list to hear when I've posted new Classes and/or Workshops.
